Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (Santa Barbara, California, October 25, 1984), better known by her stage name Katy Perry, is an American singer-songwriter, who rose to fame in 2008 with "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot n Cold 'from her second album One of the Boys (2008). Between 2010 and 2011, still had greater success with Teenage Dream, which for promotion launched six simple five which - "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "ET" and "Last Friday Night (TGIF) "- they were located at No. 1 Billboard Hot 100, which made her the first female artist to achieve the feat and second overall after Michael Jackson with his album Bad (1987).

It is influenced by Freddie Mercury and Alanis Morissette, and is characterized by an idiosyncratic sense and based on fun fashion that incorporates bright colors and shapes of fruits and foods, mainly watermelon. Their shows have designers notorious costumes and put on quite elaborate scenes.
